The STEM and Gifted Education Conference 2016 organised by the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education (HKAGE) was held at the Hong Kong Science Park on 9 and 10 December 2016. In this conference, a number of outstanding oversea practitioners and policy makers shared their STEM experience with our local educators and tech entrepreneurs. In the HKU booth, we showcased the following two projects which attracted the students and teachers and other visitors to learn more about HKU technologies:

1. Solar car – Helios 太陽能車 (Dr. Paddy K. L. CHAN, Department of Mechanical Engineering)
2. Reading Battle 閱讀大挑戰 (Dr. Samuel K.W. CHU, Faculty of Education)
