Dr. Gilbert Wong began his workshop by illustrating different types of connections and how good networks can enable entrepreneurs to start their business. The power of connection can help people to expand their human capital and explore business opportunities, e.g. one belt one road. Dr. Wong illustrated different types of ties that we need to develop - connections with the customers, the investors and the peers. Dr. Wong concluded that with the popularity of social media, e.g. Facebook, WhatsApp, they can easily help us to create network and keep us stay in touch with others.
